Current Funding

The task now is to raise the funds needed to purchase the property and to build a facility to meet our needs. A majority of the funds received thus far have been donations from New Knowledge Adventures, Snake River New Horizons Band, and AARP members.

$13,150
invested in property (Option Agreement payment, environmental assessment, maintenance)

$123,000
funds raised to date towards purchase and pre-development of property

$20,360
donations made in memory of deceased members to be used to furnish specific rooms in the facility

USP has recently received support from an AARP Community Challenge Grant for the promotion of this lifelong learning center. A “Walk About of the Property” took place on September 30, 2023, with the Bonneville Neighborhood Association & Lasting Legacy Festival to raise community awareness and participation in this project.
